  3. 1.5.2 (4/22/99)
  4. New features:
  5.  - New 'Display ID3 Tags' option. Selecting it will make MacAMP Lite scan for all possible ID3 tags in a file and display the artist/title fields in playlist instead of file names. For more information about ID3 tags, visit <http://www.id3.org/>
  6.  - New 'Random Skin on Startup' option. Selecting it will make MacAMP Lite choose random skin from 'Skins' folder on application launch.
  7. Bug fixes:
  8.  - Dragging folders/disks onto MacAMP Lite icon now works.
  9.  - Fixed a few bugs related to dropping files onto MacAMP Lite icon.
  10.  - Some minor bugfixes.
  11. What's Coming Up:
  12.  - New version with streaming support (including popular Shoutcast streams).

  16. New features:
  17.  - Basic AppleScript control. It is possible to show/hide MacAMP Lite's window via AppleScript. Open MacAMP Lite application as dictionary in Script Editor for more info.
  18.  - Volume popup can be accessed by holding Command and clicking anywhere in MacAMP Lite window.
  19. Bug fixes:
  20.  - Fixed a bug causing random crashes on various Macs.
  21.  - Fixed some other bugs that could cause crashes.
  22.  - Minor tweaks on GUI engine.

  30.  - New GUI engine and skin format, giving enhanced performance and extra stability. Now MacAMP Lite is 100% PowerPC-native. Skins for MacAMP Lite 1.0 will NOT work with it.
  31.  - New Millennium MPEG Audio engine, developed by @soft, with VBR (AudioCatalyst) and MPEG 2.5 support.
  32.  - Speeded up initial adding of tracks up to 500% in some circumstances.
  33. Bug fixes:
  34.  - Fixed a bug that could cause a crash when switching songs.
  35.  - Fixed a few visual bugs.
  36.  - Miriads of smaller bugfixes.

  42. KNOWN ISSUES
  43. • Timer and volume will not work with certain file types. When that issue will be fixed, updated engines will be posted on MacAMP Lite page, <http://www.macamp.com/lite/>.
